The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not—for—profit organisation headquartered in Bengaluru, India. Our organisation strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the government schools and government-aided schools.
As part of the mission, we always strive to improve our processes for ensuring high quality
standards, improved food safety, on time performance, optimized cost. people engagement etc, In line with this ongoing efforts, it was decided to implement 55, Visual Management and Total Productive Maintenance on a pilot basis at our Bellary Kitchen. We felt the need for taking professional help and after scrutinizing various organisations, we decided to take support of Seven Steps Business Transformation Systems as our strategic partner in this journey.
